Blood in vomitus and / or black coloured stools can be a sign of underlying liver disease ( cirrhosis ) and its complication ( portal hypertension ) . this complication can be managed with Endoscopic Band Ligation . Do not ignore blood in vomitus and / or black coloured stools , Visit a hepatologist at the earliest
